EX: If you're going on a long car journey, make sure the vehicle's in good condition.
      如果你準備駕駛小汽車做長途旅行,一定要確保車輛運轉狀況良好。

resort (n.) [rI’zCrt] 度假地, 遊覽勝地

EX: Brighton is one of the most popular resorts on the south coast of England.
      布賴頓是英國南部海岸最有名的度假地。



steep (adj.) [stip] 陡峭的, 陡直的, (升或降)急驟的, 大起大落的; [要求,尤指價格]過分的, 過高的, 極端的
 
﹣rising or falling quickly or at a large angle.
EX: This hill's too steep to ride up on a bicycle.
      這山太陡了,騎腳踏車可上不去。
 
﹣of a demand or esp. a price unreasonable, too much.
EX: He's asking 500 pound for his old car, which I think is a bit steep!
      他那輛車居然索價5百英鎊, 我認為太過份了。
