expense (n.) [Ik’spEns] [時間、精力、金錢等的]消耗, 消費
﹣cost in money, time or effort.
EX: She spared no expense( = spent a lot of money) to make the wedding a success.
      為了使婚禮成功，她不惜代價(指她花費了巨款)。

at the expense of (idiom.) 以...為代價, 犧牲, 損害
EX: He finished the job at the expense of(= causing the loss of) his health.
      她以犧牲健康來完成這項工作。



besides (adv.) [bI’saIdz] 而且; 還有

EX: I don't want to go; besides, I'm too tired.
      我不想去，再說我也太累了。
